Log on to mystudenthealth.miami.edu and enter your Cane I.D. and password
Click the button at the top left to access the drop-down menu/options:
To upload documents other than your insurance card, click on the ‘upload’ button. You will have to choose the type of document you are uploading from the drop-down menu:
After choosing the type of document, click on ‘select file’ to select the image:
You will be given the option of taking a photo or selecting a previously taken image from your photo library
Once you take the photo or select the image- click the upload button:
To upload your insurance card, choose the insurance click on the ‘insurance’ option from the main drop-down menu instead of the upload button.
If your insurance card is not already on file, you will see an ‘upload card’ button. Click on this in order to upload your insurance card:
You can take a picture of the card or if you have taken a picture previously and saved it you can upload it from your photo library.

Choose the type of document that you will be uploading from the drop-down menu and click ‘select file’ in order to browse to the file on your computer (remember you must have it saved on your computer to be able to upload it).
In order to upload an insurance card, go to the ‘insurance’ tab on the top toolbar. If we do not have a copy of your insurance card on file, you will see an ‘upload card’ button next to your insurance information. Click this button to attach the picture of the card.
