Insurance Cards

Insurance cards are distributed early each semester, but will not be available until you have financially registered and paid your insurance charge and all other fees. Although insurance information is transmitted frequently to United Healthcare, there may be a delay of 2-3 working days between financial registration and processing of your information in the United Healthcare system. IMPORTANT: Please update your LOCAL address on CaneLink to assure that the card is mailed to the correct address.

Temporary cards may also be available at after you have completed financial registration. You will need your United Healthcare member ID/policy number which can be obtained at MyUHealthChart (click "Menu" on the top left and then navigate to the "Insurance" section) or by calling (800) 436-7709. Please refer to group # 709872 when calling to obtain your subscriber number. If you have not received your card by September 30th for the Fall Semester, January 30th for the Spring Semester, or June 30th for the Summer Session, please contact United Healthcare.

Annual Aug 15th - Aug 14th of the following year
Fall Only Aug 15th - Jan 9th (Graduating Seniors Only - Documentation Required)
Spring/Summer Jan 5th - Aug 14th
