Ringworm
  • Overview of Ringworm
    • Ringworm is a common infection caused by fungi such as Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton that can affect many areas of the body. Those infected with ringworm often have an itchy, red, circular rash that appears between 4 to 14 days after fungi exposure. Ringworm is often treated with prescription medications.
