  • Overview of PTSD
    • PTSD is caused by a traumatic event such as war, hurricane, sexual assault, or a bad accident. Having PTSD can cause flashbacks, trouble sleeping, nightmares, loneliness, outbursts, and feelings of guilt or sadness. Treatment includes therapy and medication.
