  • Overview of Mononucleosis
    • Mononucleosis, known as mono, is a contagious disease caused by the Epstein-Barr virus that is very common in college students. Symptoms of mono include extreme fatigue, fever, sore throat, body aches, swollen lymph nodes in the neck or armpits, and rash. Transmission of mono is typically through bodily fluids such as saliva. If you are experiencing symptoms, contact your physician or make an appointment at the Student Health Services here.
