    • MRSA or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus is a bacteria that is resistant to several antibiotics. Those with MRSA may develop a rash that is red, painful, and swollen. In serious situations, individuals may get the pneumonia or undergo sepsis. To prevent MRSA, practice good personal hygiene such as washing your hands.
