• Overview of Lice
    • Lice is caused by parasitic insects that can be found on your head and body. This can cause itchiness and irritability on the exposed area. Transmission is often caused by person-to-person contact. Contrary to common belief, dogs, cats, and other pets do not have a role in the transmission of human lice. Lice can be treated with over the counter treatment and prescription medication. If you are experiencing symptoms, contact your physician or make an appointment at the Student Health Services here.
