• Overview of Herpes
    • Herpes is caused by one of the two strains of the herpes simplex virus (HSV). Either strains of this virus can cause oral or genital herpes. HSV is spread through direct contact and may result in sores that blister, itch, and are painful. If you experiencing any of these symptoms, contact your physician or make an appointment at the Student Health Services here.
