• Overview of HIV/AIDs
    • HIV, known as human immunodeficiency virus, weakens an individual’s immune system by destroying cells that fight disease. Though there is no cure for HIV, it can be managed with proper medical treatment. AIDS, known as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, is the most severe phase of HIV. Those with AIDS have a severely damaged immune system. Common symptoms of AIDS include chills. Fever, sweats, weakness, and weight loss.
