Bike Safety
  • Overview of Bike Safety
    • Though only 1% of all trips in the U.S. are taken by bike, bicyclists are at higher risk for crash-related injuries than those driving in a vehicle. To prevent these injuries, it is highly recommending to wear a bike helmet to reduce the risk of head and brain injuries. It is also important make yourself visible at night by wearing fluorescent or retro-reflective clothing and installing active lighting on your bike.
