    • Tinea pedis, commonly known as athlete’s foot, is a skin infection on your foot caused by fungus. Symptoms of athlete’s foot is characterized by itchiness, skin fissures, and redness. To prevent athlete’s foot avoid walking barefoot in public showers and practice good foot hygiene such as clipping your toenails regularly.
