• Overview of ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that is usually diagnosed in childhood. Those with ADHD may struggle with paying attention, controlling compulsive disorders, and getting along with others. ADHD is usually treated with medications and behavior therapy. However, there is no single treatment that works best for everyone. To learn about how University of Miami can assist you, make an appointment at the Student Health Services.
